Catering & Events Manager

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Building :
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound calls, networking, and respond to inbound inquiries.
  • Conduct professional tours and presentations of the event space to prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new, existing, and repeat clients to foster long-term partnerships.

Proposal Development & Contracting :

  • Prepare customized proposals and event packages tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and finalize event contracts in alignment with company policies.
  • Ensure all contracts are properly documented, and that required deposits are collected in a timely manner.
  • Revenue & Sales Goals :
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Track leads, manage sales pipeline, and monitor conversions through CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate inquiries and execute promotional strategies.
  • Communication & Coordination :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process.
  • Effectively communicate event details and client expectations to operations, culinary, audiovisual, and other relevant teams.
  • Maintain timely follow-ups, confirmations, and clear updates to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Event Planning & Execution :

  • Translate each client’s vision into actionable plans and event logistics.
  • Create comprehensive event documentation, including Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and detailed timelines.
  • Supervise event setup, monitor execution, and oversee post-event breakdowns to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Vendor & Team Coordination :

  • Collaborate with internal teams (kitchen, bar, service staff) and external vendors (e.g., DJs, decorators, rental companies) to ensure all aspects of the event are aligned.
  • Ensure staff is fully briefed, scheduled appropriately, and prepared to meet client expectations.
  • Onsite Event Management :
  • Be present for key events to manage on-the-ground logistics and address issues in real time.
