Performs design, implementation, and integration of RTL for LTE and 5GNR radio access points. Collaborate with peers across many engineering fields on the design of outstanding programmable logic based wireless solutions. This will include participating with hardware, software, and test engineers in bring up, design verification test (DVT) and end-to-end integration of the final product. Working in the advanced area of DAS and developing digital interface into the DAS system that uses ORAN interface, support hardware team on circuit board development, writing FPGA code and support thermal simulations / estimations in collaboration with mechanical and electrical engineering team members. Write VHDL code for FPGAs operating in radio systems. Verify the performance of their code and the overall system using simulation tools such as ModelSim and QuestaSim. Conduct unit testing of their code and the overall system on actual hardware. Document the design using a variety of tools including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio. Conduct and participate in code reviews with peer engineers in-order to ensure adherence to the company coding guidelines and standards. FPGA design experience for high-speed real-time data processing applications. Recent development experience with Intel FPGAs and CPLDs. Clock domain partitioning, timing constraints rules and static timing closure experience. Telecommuting permitted.
