Join Our Team as a Purchasing Specialist!

• Are you passionate about streamlining purchasing processes and optimizing supply chains? We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team. As a Purchasing Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating purchasing activities, ensuring seamless operations and fostering strong supplier relationships.
• Facilitate Purchasing Operations : Coordinate purchase order processes including deferrals, expediting, and cancellations to maintain efficient business operations.
• Develop and run reports, conduct price analytics, and update material cost standards to contribute to informed decision-making.
• Engage in supplier business review meetings, manage bid lists, issue RFQs, and support negotiations to enhance supplier performance.
• Support initiatives to enhance material flow, capture value, and reduce waste in the supply chain, contributing to overall efficiency.
• Train and mentor purchasing coordinators and associates to uphold best practices and ensure a cohesive team environment.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field.

Experience : Three (3) or more years in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field.

Expert level of proficiency in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications :

Relevant industry certifications would be advantageous.

Strong attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, and excellent organizational skills.

Software Proficiency : Experience with various web-based software applications such as Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, etc.
