Join us in leading the Navy Fleet & Family Support Work and Family Life (WFL) programs! We are looking for a dedicated professional to ensure the highest standards of service delivery for Sailors and their families across multiple locations. Your role will be crucial in fostering family readiness and supporting our military community.

Locations : Remote flexibility; candidates must reside within 100 miles of selected cities : Washington DC; Augusta, Georgia; Baltimore, Maryland; Chicago, Illinois; Corpus Christi, Texas; Gulfport, Mississippi; Hartford, Connecticut; Jacksonville and Pensacola, Florida; Los Angeles and San Diego, California; Memphis, Tennessee; New Orleans, Louisiana; Seattle and Everett, Washington; Honolulu, HI.

Job Overview

As the Work and Family Life (WFL) Program Supervisor, you will be at the helm of adult education and social service initiatives that provide essential support to Sailors and their families. This pivotal position emphasizes leadership in program management, staff oversight, and curriculum development across diverse sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate, and supervise the delivery of WFL services across assigned regions.
  • Ensure compliance with Navy standards, program objectives, and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and present management briefings, reports, and analyses on program effectiveness.
  • Contribute to emergency preparedness and family readiness programming.
  • Guide and oversee WFL Consultants and contracted personnel.

Qualifications

  • Education : Master's degree in adult education, social science, or a related field; OR six years equivalent experience.
  • Licensure : Not required; emphasis on education / social services management expertise.
  • Experience : At least 2 years of experience managing or coordinating adult education or social service programs.
  • Other : U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a background investigation.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in military family readiness or community-based adult education initiatives.
  • Familiarity with virtual program delivery platforms and remote team management.
  • Compensation

    The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 annually, dependent on experience and location.

    Positions are contingent and will commence upon contract award.
