JOB DEFINITION :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing short-term acute care to individuals presenting to the Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center with a mental health / substance use crisis. The RN assesses clients, administers medications, manages psychiatric and medical needs, and supports crisis stabilization through trauma-informed, patient centered care. The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, promote recovery, and assist with treatment planning and discharge coordination.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the New York State Department of Education and possess either an Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree and / or Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
