Role : Field Service Manager - Central

Location / Territory : Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arkansas, Mississippi

Compensation : $85,000-$110,000 + 10% bonus

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the designated service region, including workforce selection, performance management, P&L monitoring, territory needs and opportunities, and customer relations.
  • Monitor and manage the overall performance of the service zone, including revenue, expense management, and penetration into the install base.
  • Ensure the achievement of all key and operational measures, especially in safety, development, customer satisfaction, operational improvements, revenue generation, and profitability.
  • Develop and manage growth and profitability of the field service business by tracking financial performance to ensure profitability.
  • Partner with the Sales team to assist in securing capital equipment sales, new service opportunities, and to retain current business; present the service offering to customers as required.
  • Lead the hiring, training, and development of the field service team.
  • Drive performance management, including performance reviews, coaching, and development opportunities for direct reports.
  • Develop and implement profitable service programs resulting in sales lead generation and excellent customer service.
  • Promote seamless collaboration between Sales and Service teams to drive profitability and efficiency.

What you need to succeed

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Hands-on experience managing a field team of at least 10 mechanical technicians
  • Ability to creatively solve business problems through gathering and analyzing data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer literacy
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards in a service environment
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel (~20% overnight)
  • Able to obtain a valid passport for occasional international travel
