American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience, BLS and ARRT or ARDMS certification, and previous travel assignment experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in a short-term acute care teaching hospitalWork in an interventional radiology department with adult inpatient populationProcedures involve IR / angiography, C-Arm usage, contrast administration, and biopsies4x10 hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM with rotating days offCall required on weekends (Friday–Sunday every 6 weeks) and one weekday call every other weekLate stay requirements based on staffing needsUses Cerner EMRScrubs are providedNo on-site parking for day shift; overnight and weekend parking availableModules and orientation required, average of 12 hours completed pre-startHoliday, RTO, and absence policies are in place, with a maximum of 3 days off per contract in perioperative unitsApplicants within 60 miles considered local candidates at a lower rateReturn staff must have a 1-year break in employment to qualify as a travelerManager interview may not be required\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years of interventional radiology experienceMust have completed at least one prior travel assignmentActive BLS and ARRT or ARDMS certification requiredCertifications in Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Cardiovascular Technology (CVT)Advanced certifications (Vascular Interventional, Cardiac-Interventional, Cardiovascular) preferred but not requiredExperience with C-Arm, contrast administration, biopsies, and IR / angiography proceduresExperience with Cerner preferredValid state license required if applicableTwo supervisor references required\n Benefits\n
