Follows broadly based directions; trains and develops subordinate Security Department personnel; implement Department Management directives; supervises Security Department personnel; reads and analyzes a wide variety of instructional and training information; interacts and communicates with people representing a wide variety of units and organizations; conducts disciplinary and counseling sessions when necessary; develops department schedules, ensures operational status and conducts weekly random checks of alarm systems.

Essential functions include : supervising activities of various security personnel, overseeing emergency procedures, supervising the protection of all Nemacolin assets, conducting company related investigations and surveillance, advising on course of action on security and safety concerns, maintaining a high level of knowledge in regard to current security laws and policies, issuing disciplinary actions when appropriate, maintaining and logging records of artwork and alarm system, and other job duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include : a high school graduate, PA Act 235 certification preferred, supervisory experience preferred, at least 1 years experience working on a resort required, ability to work various shifts, including flex shift / float position, excellent leadership skills, ability to make sound decisions, ability to work independently without direct supervision, ability to speak and write English, and a current, valid drivers license.
