Senior Tax Accountant

This is a Senior Tax Accountant position within the tax compliance group primarily responsible for domestic compliance and tax accounting for the Sports and Entertainment operations of a U.S. based company.

A Snapshot of Your Responsibilities :

• Review and prepare corporate federal, state and local income tax returns
• Review and prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and tax return extensions
• Review and prepare interim and year-end tax provisions including current taxable income calculation and deferred tax roll forward.
• Liaise with finance and accounting personnel to collect and analyze financial information for assigned business operations
• Develop an understanding of the business for assigned entities
• Assist with responses to taxing authority inquiries
• Provide tax support to other corporate and operating groups
• Supervise staff and / or consultants tasked with the preparation of assigned entity tax returns and projects
• Assist with ad hoc projects related to income tax audits and planning

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-110,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical / dental / vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
