Located in Brooklyn Park, MN

Salary : $23-$25 / hr

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with one our global precision instrument manufacturing clients in the Northeast metro to fill immediate 1st shift shift Temp to hire Technicians. Pay is $23-$25 / hr. Along with competitive pay rate, our client has a best in class benefits package, once you are hired on permanently,

Responsibilities :

  • Trouble shoot and repair mechanical and electrical assemblies
  • Continually improve the setup, calibration and test procedures used on the new equipment orders.
  • Provide training when necessary to the new build assemblers in your area.
  • Communicate with engineering on product performance and functionality issues.
  • Work closely with all personnel within the department.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Complete other assignments and special projects as requested

REQUIRED :

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant Technician experience required
  • Electronic Technical AA degree or Certificate preferred with 0-2 years relevant experience
  • In lieu of Technical AA Degree / Certificate, 2-3 years electrical or computer engineering coursework as part of a Bachelor Degree preferred, with 0-2 years relevant Technician experience

    • DESIRED :

  • Experience in testing, diagnostics, trouble shooting and repair of PCA circuit boards and complex instrumentation preferred.
  • Experience trouble shooting and repairing mechanical and electrical devices to the component level a plus
