Quality Control Supervisor

Job Description

Come join a growing company and make an impact as the Quality Control Supervisor applies the principles of product quality evaluation and control. Oversee, plan and direct the activities of Quality Inspectors for Coherent Aerospace & Defense Murrieta Site. Continuously improve the quality measurements and controls on materials, processes, and product that provide adequate control of quality at minimum quality related costs. Manage calibration of equipment including planning and coordination of schedules between manufacturing departments and outside contractors. Coordinate source inspection and source surveillance schedules with customer quality representatives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervision / Leadership - 10%

Department team is staffed, motivated, engaged and empowered to deliver a high and sustainable level of performance in an ever-changing environment

Manages daily, weekly, and monthly inspection, calibration to meet production schedules while maintaining high quality standards and maximum productivity from the workforce.

Coherent A&D OS objectives are achieved within budget

Support special projects as required
