Overview

Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus!

Duties

As an RN Clinical Coordinator you will actively support the department director / manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit. You will not serve as a supervisor or manager; instead serve as a clinical nurse and resource to the staff, authorize work procedures and assign duties, shift charge, as well as :

  • Demonstrating strong clinical judgment and ensuring high-quality care delivery to each patient.
  • Acting as a vital link between physicians and the patient care team to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintaining communication and promote cooperation with unit staff and other departments.
  • Provides input and recommendations to the director / manager on coaching, mentoring and performance management of associates.
  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient / family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
  • Act as a professional role model for all staff by demonstrating ethical / legal / professional nursing.
  • Promotes the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Actively serves on unit as a registered nurse and may take patient assignments based on unit and patient needs and acuity.
  • Being personally, accountable for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following :

Education

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (Nursing Diploma or by endorsement) required
  • BSN, preferred
  • Licensure

  • RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable, required
  • Nursing Specialty Certification, preferred
  • Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • 2-3 years of L&D RN experience preferred
  • Physical Requirements

  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and / or up to 20lbs frequently, and / or up to 10lbs constantly)
  • SCHEDULE : 7 P - 7 : 30 A. 3 x 12 hour shifts. 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks. 2 major and 2 minor holidays, rotating

    Beginning in October 2025, we will be a 15 bed labor deck, 18 bed postpartum unit, and a 7-9 bed level II NICU caring for 32 weeks and above, occasionally going down to 30 weeks. With our location right off I-25 we see all gestations and have the capability and resources to deliver, stabilize and transport. We also have 3 triage beds and 2 OR suites. We are doing around 100 deliveries a month and continuing to grow. With the addition of Kaiser we anticipate we will double our census and deliveries. Exciting times at St. Anthony North!
