Inventory Clerk
Function : Inventory Clerks are responsible for managing and maintaining an organization's inventory, including tracking and reporting inventory levels, performing audits and inspections, and managing the receipt and recording of new stock.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers
- Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records to share with management and other stakeholders in the business
- Identifying and reporting discrepancies in inventory
- Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs
- Preparing documentation for inventory audits
- Coordinating the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
- Performing data entry and administrative duties
