Position Summary Are you comfortable with meeting deadlines? Are you interested in gaining insight into the broadcasting and production process, while working as part of a team committed to the mission of public media? If so, we invite you to explore opportunities with the NMPBS Traditional Marketing team. NMPBS is looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented student to help edit on-air short form video content. Production and proofing of navigational on-air promotional elements. Time / date tagging and output of promotional spots. Assisting with NMPBS brand visuals, especially through graphic design. Delivery of video content to Broadcast Operations for air. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Edit on-air short form video content and produce promotional elements.

Perform time / date tagging and output of promotional spots.

Assist with NMPBS brand visuals, particularly through graphic design.

Deliver video content to Broadcast Operations for air.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly :

Premiere Pro

Photoshop

After Effects (basic knowledge)

Experience in graphic design for video and exporting various video formats.

Self-starter and motivated team player.

Detail-oriented with solid grammatical and proofreading skills.

Basic knowledge of PBS is desired.

Weekly availability during regular business hours (8a-5p).
