Partner Business Consultant
We are seeking a skilled partner business consultant to join our channel sales team. The role involves managing the relationship between Autodesk and a platinum partner and being responsible for developing strategies for growth and investment, as well as driving new business opportunities with and through this partner.
This position reports to the senior manager of channel sales. It is remote based, with candidates ideally located in the Denver or Dallas metropolitan areas.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partner strategy to drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to develop joint business plans, set targets / milestones, measure results, and implement effective sales and marketing strategies
- Understand partners' business and organizational structure
- Ensure common vision between Autodesk and partners
- Work with partners to help identify areas of investment and supports execution
- Conduct business reviews to evaluate performance, track, and report on key performance metrics, such as revenue generated through partnerships, partner pipelines and identify areas for improvement to drive mutual success
- Oversee contractual requirements with partners
- Provide training and enablement resources to partners to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively sell our products and services
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, technical, marketing, customer success, and product, to align partner activities with overall company objectives
Minimum qualifications
7+ years in a customer-facing sales or services-oriented role (partner experience ideal)Experience with channel sales / partner managementStrong understanding of go-to-market sales initiativesExperience managing strategic partnerships and driving revenue growthKnowledge of sales and sales management processesAbility to travel up to 50% of the timeThe ideal candidate

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting on-target earnings (ote) between $149,000 and $227,700. ote is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
