Responsibilities Work in a 45-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 2 operating rooms Patient population includes high-risk OB, antepartum, c-sections, and vaginal deliveries Staffing ratio of 1 : 1-2 Handles drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin Epic EMR is used in this unit May be required to float to Mother-Baby / Postpartum units Must be able to work 2 out of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving) Holiday time off requests are limited to one day between late November and early January Responsible for providing care for high-risk OB patients and managing specialized drips Must be prepared to float as needed to related areas First-time travelers will not be considered for this position Requirements Active Iowa or compact RN license Minimum 1.5 years of recent L&D experience in a hospital setting Prior travel contract experience required Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP Experience with Epic EMR preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-611039.
