Shift : Nights, 3x12 (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Overview

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a reputable healthcare facility in Amarillo, TX. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing all phases of perinatal care, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum, while ensuring safe, compassionate, and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.
  • Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for cesarean sections.
  • Perform and monitor external fetal heart monitoring (EFM).
  • Conduct sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetrical patients.
  • Manage insulin drips and maintain central lines (CVC / PICC).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Document care accurately using Epic EMR

    • Requirements

  • Active RN License : Texas or Compact
  • Certifications Required : BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year of recent L&D experience
  • Travel Experience : Not required (first-time travelers welcome)
  • EMR : Epic (required)
