The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized instruction in 1-on-1 Online Tutoring to individual students.
  • Accept on-demand tutoring requests when available (Instant Tutoring).
  • Leverage the Live Learning Platform to deliver tutoring sessions remotely (no commuting).
  • Be matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and subject expertise.
  • Utilize resources and features (e.g., AI-assisted tools) to enhance lessons and engagement.

What We Look For In a Tutor

  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
  • Expertise in Music and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Priority given to candidates with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education.
