The physician is primarily responsible for providing ophthalmological care to veterans both clinically and surgically. They will also be responsible for resident supervision per VA guidelines and for staffing Ophthalmology clinics. Physicians must attend staff meetings and participate on committees assigned. Physicians will be responsible for timely medical records, including computer order / entry and support Section Chief, Chief, Surgical Service and TVHS in obtaining Performance Measures.
