Overview

Database Administrator (DBA) - Postgres - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement individual components of Oracle products based on area of expertise.
  • Analyze detailed requirements and develop detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology.
  • Provide implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows.
  • Perform routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security.
  • Perform system optimization, performance tuning and assist in capacity planning.
  • Perform proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have TS / SCI clearance w / active polygraph
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in technical discipline. Four (04) years of additional DB experience can be used in lieu of degree
  • At least ten (10) years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
  • Experience administering and engineering solutions with PostgreSQL, MySQL & Oracle databases (10+ years)
  • Extensive experience with database design, collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning
  • Experience with RAC, RMAN backup & recovery - desired
  • Experience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration – desired

    Base pay range

    $125,000.00 / yr - $225,000.00 / yr
