Overview
Database Administrator (DBA) - Postgres - CLEARANCE and POLYGRAPH REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Design and implement individual components of Oracle products based on area of expertise.
- Analyze detailed requirements and develop detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology.
- Provide implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows.
- Perform routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security.
- Perform system optimization, performance tuning and assist in capacity planning.
- Perform proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.
Qualifications
Must be a US CitizenMust have TS / SCI clearance w / active polygraphBachelor\'s Degree in technical discipline. Four (04) years of additional DB experience can be used in lieu of degreeAt least ten (10) years of experience as an Oracle Database AdministratorExperience administering and engineering solutions with PostgreSQL, MySQL & Oracle databases (10+ years)Extensive experience with database design, collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuningExperience with RAC, RMAN backup & recovery - desiredExperience with Oracle Exadata, DB security, Data Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration – desiredCompensation and Benefits
Base pay range
$125,000.00 / yr - $225,000.00 / yr
