Job Title : Operator 1 - Packager
Primary Function :
Process and package finished products according to customer-specified packaging requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties :
The duties listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed. Team members may be assigned additional tasks as needed.
- Inspect finished products, identify defects, and discard defective items.
- Collect packaging materials and package finished goods to meet customer order specifications.
- Print and apply labels to match packaged product specifications.
- Assemble and label packaging boxes.
- Operate a metal detector to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Count finished products to ensure they match specified label quantities.
- Properly label and case finished products for shipment.
- Complete work orders and accurately document processed goods.
