About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist

Experience :

Two (2) years of experience as a Ultrasonographer is required.

License :

RDMS certification is required.

Certifications :

BLS certification is required.

Must-Have :

Must live 100 miles away.

OB certification required.

On-call requirement : maximum of 2 days during the week plus 1 weekend per month.

Description :

Performs dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of organ malfunction.

Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.

Uses sonographic equipment to record images of patients and assist in diagnosing various medical illnesses and conditions.

Performs diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound technology.

Responsible for operating sonographic equipment and communicating the results of diagnostic examinations.

Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.

Has knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the production of radiographs utilizing multiple types of equipment.

Provides care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
