Manage and develop a team of procurement professionals, setting clear expectations and fostering growth through coaching and accountability. Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, and finance to align procurement priorities with site and business objectives. Negotiate contracts and agreements that provide lasting value and security for the business. Monitor industry trends and Gulf Coast chemical market dynamics to anticipate supply challenges. Address team performance and supplier issues constructively, maintaining a culture of fairness, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field (required). 15+ years of procurement experience, ideally within the chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing industries. Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in chemical, petrochemical, or similar industrial manufacturing industries. At least 5 years of experience managing direct reports, with a strong track record in coaching, team development, and performance management. Demonstrated ability in contract negotiations, supplier management, and procurement strategy execution. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across the organization.
