Are you a hands-on accounting leader ready to make a real impact? A stable, tight-knit company in Nashville is seeking a Accounting Manager to lead its accounting operations and drive process improvement across the board. This person will eventually step into the CFO role.

Role Overview

Lead and mentor a small accounting team (3 team members in AP / AR)

Own full-cycle financial reporting : month-end, year-end, and internal statements

Manage and report on all floor plan financing

Strengthen internal controls and streamline accounting processes

Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning

Champion process improvement across systems, workflows, and structure

Ideal Background

5-6+ years of progressive accounting experience

Proactive, hands-on leadership style

Industry experience in dealership, equipment, or construction is a big plus

Bachelor's in Accounting required (CPA preferred)

Strong communicator with executive presence

Team & Culture

Direct oversight of 3 accounting professionals

Reports directly to company leadership
