We are looking for applicants to fill a position in our front office staff here at D Construction, Inc. The front office handles all the paperwork that comes in and out of the building from accounts payable, accounts receivable, subcontracts, and even permits and insurance claims. Front office staff typically work in tandem with the project management team and management to help the jobs in the field run on time and as efficiently as possible.
Responsibilities
Possible responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Interact with subcontractors and issue their corresponding subcontracts. Submit and log permits for equipment, contractors licenses, and registrations. Track incoming bills and their payments. Receive tickets for materials from the field and use to compare against billings from vendors. Receive and submit for approval, payments from the government or municipalities for work performed.
Qualifications
Willingness to learn and succeed. Personable. Highschool Diploma. Higher Education is preferred but not strictly required. Familiar with computers and their use in a work setting. Communication skills. Ability to work with others as a member of a team. Basic understanding of accounting principles. The desire to be part of something bigger than yourself.
