  • Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees, and a 27-bed Emergency Room / Fast Track Unit.

    • Responsibilities

  • Provide basic nursing care to the patient
  • Assist nursing personnel and physicians in emergency care
  • Accept responsibility for providing safe, appropriate, quality patient care
  • Perform out of bed / back to bed as appropriate
  • Observe the patient while performing delegated tasks and report significant findings regarding patient safety, personal needs, and changes in the patient's condition to the licensed nurse.
  • Respond to call light promptly and courteously
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient records
  • Assist patient in a wheelchair, on a stretcher, and ambulating
  • Monitor vital signs, specimen collection, intake and output, meal consumption, height and weight, blood glucose testing / monitoring, point of care testing
  • Perform any other duties assigned

    • Qualifications

    Job Requirements :

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience.

    • Preferred Job Requirements :

  • CNA certification.

    • Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
