We are seeking a Full-Time, non-supervisory Residential Security Officer , at our Newport Beach, California location. The general duties of the Residential Security Officer are to provide personal security services to designated individuals and properties by use of proactive and reactive security methodology. While working in a Security Operations Center – observe, report, identify, and investigate all suspicious and unusual objects and activity. The Residential Security Officer responds promptly to alarms and emergency situations, working closely with the Executive Protection Team and Estate Management.

MANDATORY MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • A current California Guard Card with Exposed Carry Firearm permit
  • Three or more years in private security, personal protection, or equivalent military, and / or relevant education
  • A current California Exposed Firearm Permit
  • High School Diploma

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Provide personal security services to specific individuals, properties, offices, and designated assets.
  • Conduct routine patrols to detect and deter security breaches.
  • Familiarity with security technologies, such as cameras, access control, sensors, and alarm systems.
  • Augment the Executive Protection team with relevant contextual information, in addition to supporting field operations.
  • Maintain peak physical condition in order to perform security duties at the highest level.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Willingness to work all shifts (day, swing and graveyard) and all days (weekends and holidays).
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours as needed.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned.
