The Director of Membership Operations is responsible for developing and maintaining all membership areas of Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill including Fitness, Sports Performance, Personal Training, and Group Exercise. Meeting budgeted revenue and expense targets in these areas and developing all team members in these membership areas is a critical component to the success of this position. Reviewing and updating the design and equipment choices of these areas, as necessary, and building vendor relationships to maintain spaces and equipment is also essential.

Essential Job Functions
Develop membership marketing strategies to attract and retain membersMeet and exceed budgeted membership goals in both revenue and expenseBuild vendor relationships to ensure start-up and ongoing maintenance and equipment needs are metCollaborate with other departments to provide membership related services to their guests and customersAnalyze trends in membership areas to consistently improve the offerings of the membership areasTrain all team members in the use of membership related software including Active NetworkDevelop and lead full-time team members in areas of specialty within the membership departmentsGenerate leads of corporate and personal accounts for membership servicesDevelop membership programming in collaboration with managers in areas of specialtyServe as point of contact for all membership related questions or concerns that ariseTrain all team members to conduct new member orientations, guest service, and sales related contentEnsure all Nook policies and procedures are being upheld in the membership areasManage member relationship strategies to ensure community engagement is emphasized and a Nook membership presence is visible in community eventsConduct member surveys to ensure satisfaction standards are being met in the membership areasAll other duties as assignedRequirements : Basic Qualifications
Associate's' degree or equivalent preferred or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust have at least five years of related membership and supervisory experienceMembership industry experience including working knowledge and group exercise center equipmentMust be 18 years of age or olderDependable transportation to and from workMust have a valid Driver’s LicenseLanguage skills : Fluent knowledge of the English language; including the ability to read and interpret written information and speak and understand verbal communicationAbility to fulfill the physical requirements of the position with any reasonable accommodations as necessaryAvailability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and / or holidays as neededAuthorized to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, or Exercise ScienceExperience managing vendor relationships related to the membership industryPrevious sales experienceHighly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctualityGuest-focused / service-oriented; ability to see big picture and impact on Company.
