Job Details :
- Develops, documents, and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and maintain configuration control.
- Supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
- Integrates contractual and proprietary quality management system requirements into all aspects of proposals, program processes and documentation.
- Performs detailed Quality Engineering investigations, implements effective Root Cause Corrective Action, and provides objective evidence of results.
- Reviews contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development.
- Prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed.
- Conducts review board investigations and analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems.
- Participates with stakeholders to develop and execute real time or potential preventive or corrective actions and solutions for implementation.
- Conducts hardware, software, and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, engineering drawings, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management.
- Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, and equipment.
- Works under general direction.
- Conducts face-to-face discussions or meetings with the customers and with engineering.
Required Qualifications :
5+ Years working in a Quality organization or working directly with a Quality organization to provide products or services.Experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, or specifications.Experience with Work Order and / or Non-Conformance tracking systemsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesBachelor of Science in Engineering or a related fieldMust be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret ClearanceDesired Qualifications :
American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications.Experience analyzing data and generating metrics reports.Experience with gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).Experience in problem solving and improvement projects.Why employee's love working for DESE :
