Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities :
Operate a company-provided digital hone machine with precision and safety.Utilize hand tools and precision instruments to hone parts according to work order traveler specifications.Read and interpret micrometers, blueprints, and detailed drawings.Complete all written documentation, entries, and required signatures.Report any part or process deviations to the supervisor or quality inspector immediately.Perform basic liquid penetrant inspections as required by work order travelers.Safely operate jib and overhead cranes for material handling.Conduct daily routine maintenance — check lubricant levels, clean machines, and maintain readiness.Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.Participate in company-provided training and demonstrate steady progress toward independent operation.Qualifications :
Must be able to read and understand English for documentation and drawings.Experienced Operators : Minimum one (1) year honing or related machining experience required.Trainee Operators : Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.Trainees will receive a minimum of four (4) weeks of hands-on instruction under supervision.
Readiness for independent operation is determined by the instructor.Must possess or be willing to obtain required hand tools.The company offers a tool purchase program with payroll deductions until paid in full.
Compensation & Pay Scale :
Hourly pay is based on skill level and classification as outlined below :

Training & Evaluation :
