Maintenance Mechanic

Must be able to pass a skills test. Please contact our company to set up an appointment. This employee is responsible for general maintenance of packaging machinery. The optimal candidate MUST have at least 5 years of experience working on packaging machinery within a food manufacturing facility or comparable environment.

Requirements

• Mechanical Skills : Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical tasks, especially pertaining to packaging machinery.
• Industry Experience : Minimum of 5 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment or a similar industrial setting.
• Skill Test : Must be able to pass a skill test showcasing mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
• Problem-Solving : Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues in a timely manner.
• Physical Stamina and Strength : Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy machinery parts as needed.
• Attention to Detail : High attention to detail, essential in identifying and resolving machinery issues and performing maintenance tasks accurately.
• Communication : Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical team members.
• 2nd Shift Flexibility : Must be available to work flexible hours in line with the needs of a dynamic production environment.
• Reliability : Dependable and consistent, showing a strong commitment to job responsibilities and deadlines.
