Eagle Home Medical is seeking dedicated Respiratory Therapists to join our Wilmington, DE team. This position plays a vital role in supporting our Veterans by ensuring the highest quality of respiratory care in accordance with Veterans Affairs (VA) contracts.

Employees benefit from the convenience of driving company vehicles to and from work , enabling quick response to on-call emergencies while reducing personal commuting costs.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy visits for VA patients in accordance with contract requirements, including
• Conduct ventilator checks, including documentation of ventilator status, backup units, circuit changes, and patient / family education on equipment use, maintenance, and emergency protocols.
• Complete and forward all required documentation for follow-ups, telephone calls, and home visits as outlined by Eagle Home Medical and VA standards.
• Report all incidents, suspected abuse, or neglect involving patients, caregivers, or equipment promptly, with proper documentation.
• Perform additional respiratory therapy-related duties as assigned.
