Oracle Database Automation Engineer

A company is looking for a Database Automation Engineer (Night Shift).

Key Responsibilities

Triage and troubleshoot complex database alerts and issues, implementing corrective actions and automation opportunities

Implement and maintain advanced database security in compliance with DISA STIGs

Support the planning and development of strategies for migrating databases to the Autonomous Database

Required Qualifications

At least 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA, Site Reliability Engineer, or Oracle Database Architect

Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields

Experience managing scalable, on-premises and cloud-native distributed systems

Deep understanding of the Oracle Database and related technologies

Knowledge of PL / SQL, Python, Perl, and / or Shell Scripting
