Position : Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location : Cleveland, OH 44135
Position Overview :
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all facilities are safe, well-kept, and operating efficiently. This is achieved through direct project work, coordinating with internal teams, or managing subcontractors.
Essential Job Functions :
- Oversee factory trash and waste removal, including recycling and daily waste collection between shifts.
- Manage and coordinate building subcontractors.
- Record maintenance activity for critical equipment (HVAC, air compressors, material handling) regardless of work being performed by the technician or subcontractor.
- Maintain factory cleanliness, including organizing and disposing of pallets, totes, and boxes.
- Provide extra shoveling and salting of walkways during winter for safety.
- Assist with additional projects assigned by management.
Non-Essential Job Functions :
Reorganize machines and equipment.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or GED preferred.Experience : 2 years working with facility equipment or in a similar role.Skills : Ability to interact professionally with co-workers and subcontractors. Clear and concise communication.Physical Requirements :
Stand for the majority of the day with frequent walking and lifting.Must be able to lift 40 lbs independently.Working Conditions :
