Janitor

We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production / maintenance team.

New employees can potentially earn $57K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 50-hour work week. This includes the base rate, overtime and production bonuses.

Provide excellent customer service by maintaining the cleanliness of the site.

• Clean up scrap metal and other materials from around the production lines; collect and properly dispose of other waste materials resulting from steel fabrication process.
• Assist with maintaining a clean warehouse and shipping yard, including sweeping and trash removal.
• Occasionally use overhead crane to move materials on production floor.
• Perform all job duties to meet all quality standards and in a safe manner according to CSC's safety program.
• Forklift experience a plus
• Perform other custodial duties as required by supervisor.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience working in a heavy manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Provide outstanding customer service to internal customers and uphold CSC's values
