We are hiring a Refrigeration Technician. This role performs repairs and diagnostics on-site and off-sites (50% / 50%) on starting and charging systems, cooling and re-charge, and electrical including common fault codes. Repairs include : performing leak detection procedures, compressor replacements, soldering refrigerant lines, evaporator / condenser replacements and front & rear main engine seal replacements. We require 3 plus years’ experience working on Reefer and A / C units. Main duties will be troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing components on refrigeration units. If you have experience or completed training on Cold Plate units is a plus.

- Diagnose, repair, install and perform maintenance procedures with efficiency and high-quality standards
- Maintain current knowledge of products, including any developments and service
- Adhere to company standards, policies, and procedures
- Comply with all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping
- Properly complete required paperwork
- Maintain good attendance
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required

Must have a minimum of 3-year mechanical, transport refrigeration, and / or electrical systems repair and diagnostic experience.Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL A Preferred)Must have an acceptable driving record if driving under the company’s insurance policyMust be willing to take a drug test when require.Must have ability to work overtime and on-call as position may requireMust be willing to travel up to 400 miles a day; once or twice to LA; occasionally monthly travel to Portland.Must have basic computer skills and knowledgeMust have a complete set of quality hand toolsMust be able to stand, kneel, and crouch for long periods, climb ladders and lift in excess of 50 pounds either with or without reasonable accommodationRequired Education
Graduation from general or technical high school, and / or Associate or Technical degreePreferred.Possession of Universal EPA Refrigeration Certificate License.Other requirements :

Standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping or crouching, kneeling, reaching, pushing,grasping, talking and hearing.Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less; bring objects into sharp focus and see up and down or to the right or left while fixed on a point.Medium work – exert up to 10 pounds of force continuously and / or over 60 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.Must be physically able to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.Light Work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree.Working Conditions and Environment :
Work is routinely performed in inside and outside conditions.Must be able to withstand extreme temperatures as well as potentially hazardous environments.Must be physically able to wear a dust mask and face protection.Job Type : Full-time
