Duties : Help with the identification and definition of applications architectures, components and interfaces, design of data model, data / information flows and security design. Deliver software engineering designs and programs for new and existing products (enhancements and new product development) that meets business needs. Write clean, maintainable and efficient code, adhering to best practices and standards outlined by the industry and organization. Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and performance. Investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner working as a second level of production support. Provide technical direction and coaching to software developers and associate software developers in application development activities. Collaborate with other development teams, infrastructure teams and other teams across the organization to design, test, and implement new solutions or modify the existing solutions. Adhere to all organizational and IT policies and process for software development and project management. 100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.

Requirements : Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer, Software

Engineer, or a related position.

Experience must include : Working with SpringBoot, Java, Python, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, React, Cypress, Kafka, PostgresSQL Databases, Dynatrace, and Agile methodology with Jira as a tool.

Compensation Pay Disclosure :

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and / or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
