Are you an experienced Epic Go-Live Support Specialist local to the Boston area? Randstad, the exclusive Managed Service Provider for its healthcare client, is urgently seeking dedicated At-the-Elbow (ATE) Support Specialists to ensure a successful launch of the new Epic Beaker system

This is a fast-paced, high-impact on-site, 3-week assignment starting with training on October 29th .

The Role : At-the-Elbow (ATE) Support Specialist

"At-the-Elbow" support means you won't be handling tickets or calls remotely. You will be on the clinical units , rounding and working directly alongside clinical staff as they use the new Epic Beaker system. Your primary goal is to provide immediate, real-time assistance to ensure staff feel confident and comfortable with the new workflows.

Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Real-Time Troubleshooting : Immediately answer questions and troubleshoot issues as they arise within the clinical environment.
  • Workflow Guidance : Walk staff through new Epic Beaker workflows step-by-step.
  • Specimen & Device Support : Assist with specimen collection workflows and preference list changes. Provide basic troubleshooting for clinical devices like barcode scanners and label printers .
  • Issue Escalation : Clearly distinguish between user training issues and technical / system problems, and open tickets to escalate technical issues when necessary.
  • Positive Presence : Provide calm, clear, and reassuring support to staff who may be frustrated or anxious during the transition.

Assignment Details

  • Project : Epic Beaker Go-Live
  • Duration : 3-Week Contract (Starting October 29th and ending November 15th). No extension is expected at this time.
