As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Access Specialist in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $16.82 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday - Friday : 12 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and site-specific procedures.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies relevant to the manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and identify any unusual activity.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency protocols.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
