Radiology - Imaging Physician

The Alexandria VA Medical Center in Alexandria / Pineville, LA, is seeking a full-time, BC, Diagnostic Radiologist to serve as its Chief of Diagnostic Radiology. Highlights of this position include :

• Competitive Starting Salary $255,000 to $360,000
• Work Schedule : Mon-Fri, 8am-4 : 30pm
• Position is on-station at the Alexandria VAMC, Pineville, LA not telemedicine eligible
• Direct patient care, clinical work, oversight, and administration of all aspects of the service
• Shall maintain approximately 20 percent to 50 percent clinical duties; 50 to 70 percent administrative duties
• Ability to work independently; supervision is mainly advisory in nature
• Attendance at required meetings; (e.g. Chair, Hospital Committee)
• Monitoring, reporting, and acting on residency and fellowship program, as well as oversight of residents and fellows as applicable
• Additional Administrative duties not covered above
