Senior Manufacturing Engineer Besides the regular responsibilities of a Manufacturing Engineer (ME), this person will serve as a resource for junior MEs in problem-solving and in the development and refinement of products and processes. Performs complicated and difficult Manufacturing Engineering assignments of major complexity under only general direction, requiring a high degree of technical and professional competence. Responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting independent technical projects. Develops and refines methodology for tracking, evaluating, and controlling production costs. Determines, documents, and communications "best practices" to be adhered to in the design and processing of parts or assemblies. Analyzes, evaluates, and plans method of approach and organizes means to achieve the solution to complex technical problems. May supervise / coordinate day-to-cay activities of others as assigned, insuring the timely completion of technical projects. Conducts investigations or tests of considerable complexity pertaining to the development of new manufacturing methods and exploration of product and / or process problems. Performs all operations according to prescribed safety and environmental principles. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
