Electronics Technician

A company is looking for an Electronics Technician to perform board-level analysis of failed 2-way subscriber products in Elgin, IL.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze rejected electronic assemblies using various test equipment and troubleshooting skills

Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems, defining corrective actions and communicating findings

Identify vendor vs. process defects and write detailed failure analysis reports

Required Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology required (Bachelor's preferred)

Proficiency in operating and setting up electronics equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers

RF knowledge and 1-3 years of related experience

Ability to read and interpret schematics for component-level troubleshooting is a plus

Extensive knowledge of 2-way subscriber products is a plus
