job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues within the manufacturing and industrial location. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters. Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the location, adapting to changing conditions as needed. Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises as required by site policies. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience working in locations with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred. Experience in loss prevention is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Job Description
As a Security Officer - - Manufacturing Site Patrol - Full Time in Dunbar, WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and provide excellent customer service. Your visible presence supports a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will be part of an agile and reliable team that values innovation and integrity, making a real difference every day while upholding Allied Universal's commitment to putting people first.

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
