As a Security Professional - Retail Site - Weekdays in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail distribution areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual conditions encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with controlling access to the location and monitor entry and exit points as required.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location personnel to address security-related concerns.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to daily activities, incidents, and / or observations.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
