China Research Analyst

China Research Analyst Strategy Risks seeks highly motivated candidates to conduct a broad range of research tasks with a China focus.

Effective critical thinking, high level of professional writing, and relevant research experience with all-source or open-source disciplines are a must.

Candidates who have academic studies and / or work experience with a regional focus on China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and East Asia are preferred.

Reading proficiency in Chinese is required.  Responsibilities Include :

• Conduct open-source research in English and Chinese on a wide range of topics  Write polished analytical reports in English Organize large amounts of data, including economic and market / industry data  Assist Strategy Risks heads of research with various other research tasks as required  Required Skills and Experience : Reading proficiency in modern Chinese-language media Strong English-language writing, communication and interview skills, and strong attention to detail  Outstanding research and analysis skills with a strong attention to detail Undergraduate Degree required Desired Knowledge, Education, and Experience : Knowledge of open-source information sources and excellent internet research skills Strong understanding of China’s economic and political landscape Graduate degree and r elevant research experience Experience living, working or studying in China, Hong Kong or Taiwan Self-starter and ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Research Analyst roles are full-time paid positions and are predominantly remote positions with flexible scheduling.
