Performs duties in the following areas : Medical / Surgical Units, Telemetry, and Joint Replacement Center. Must be able and willing to work in all departments as needed and directed. They will be expected to take a full assignment on med / surg or tele units. They can also be floated to ED, psych, CCU, Childbirth center where they would be helping hands. Inpatient staff is rarely floated to ED, psych, CCU, CBC but the possibility is there. They will not be oriented to those areas and would not be taking any assignment. Interacts with patients within any of the following populations : pre, intra, and post-partum, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric with a variety of clinical needs and with adults on an interdisciplinary level; must be able to effectively interact appropriately to individuals intellectual level and physical ability. Requirements : - BLS certification required - ACLS certification required
