Folder / Gluer Operator

$18 / hr

2nd Shift 2pm-12 : 30am

Appleton, WI

Key Responsibilities :

  • Understand job specifications to determine packaging needs.
  • Gather materials like cartons, labels, tape, and glue.
  • Know the basics of operating a folder gluer.
  • Prepare cartons, create labels, and ensure accurate job details.
  • Train to be a backup operator.
  • Monitor quality and productivity.
  • Record job details accurately.
  • Assist with monthly equipment maintenance.
  • Lift and bend repetitively (up to 30 lbs).
  • Stand and walk for most of the shift.
  • Follow safety guidelines and complete tasks efficiently.

Education / Experience Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of printing and publishing is an advantage.
  • Ability to complete basic math and follow instructions.
  • Mechanical skills are a plus.
  • Must focus on quality and have good troubleshooting abilities.
  • Basic computer and keyboard skills required.
