As our Piercing Lead, you'll be the heartbeat of the Mejuri Piercing Studio. Your mission is to elevate customer service, boost profitability, and create an environment where jewelry dreams come true. You'll work with piercing and gem knowledge, including initial piercings and allowable alloys. Safety and hygiene are a priority and our studio maintains gold-standard practices.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience : oversee the piercing customer journey from start to finish (greeting, check-in, styling, transaction, service, and aftercare education); maintain professionalism and embody Mejuri values in every client interaction; act as brand ambassador and build a strong local clientele.
• Collaboration : communicate insights and opportunities related to piercing products and services to Store Manager & Store Services; work with Store Manager to improve studio flow and processes; coordinate with store staff to update scheduling and online booking.
• Safety and Compliance : verify identification and waivers; remain knowledgeable about local laws and protocol updates; ensure health and safety standards, cleanliness, sharps and biohazard waste handling are maintained; explain risks and any medical concerns that may affect piercing.
• Operations : manage all aspects of the piercing studio in partnership with the Store Services team and Store Manager; support inventory management and ensure optimal quantities and assortment.
• Product and Service Expertise : stay knowledgeable on Mejuri products and become an expert on the piercing jewelry assortment (labret sizing, materials, gemstones, metals); assist with sizing, downsizing, and aftercare tailored to materials.
• Promotion and Booking : drive piercing appointment occupancy by promoting and educating about the studio; coordinate ordering of necessary equipment with Store Services; ensure proper client records and documentation.
