Sr. Marketing Project Manager (Healthcare)
As the day-to-day point of contact for pharma, healthcare, and life sciences clients, the Project Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle while ensuring customized action plans achieve client objectives. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to project management as well as the ability to resource a team of project managers, track project progress, prepare budgets, and ensure clear communication with clients and internal teams.
This role is instrumental in managing the complexities of multiple projects, balancing and navigating client needs, client relationships, budget and timeline constraints, and internal workflows. This role also requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management, ensuring that issues are identified and addressed quickly to keep projects on track. You act as both a strategic partner and advisor to clients, helping to shape their marketing strategies while ensuring the seamless execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Collaborate with our Strategic, Creative, and Interactive service lines to develop comprehensive project plans that outline project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Lead milestones and tasks of all projects, including production resource allocations, capacity constraints, timeline adjustments, and efficiency improvements.
- Serve as the main liaison between team members, management, and client stakeholders to foster effective communication.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues impacting project delivery and develop mitigation strategies, (such as client scope creep, missed deadlines, misaligned feedback, etc.). Track client revisions or requests that may impact the scope, and identify when a Change Order or new project is needed.
- Maintain a strong knowledge base for all TrendyMinds tools and delivery processes.
- Prepare weekly status reports for clients and internal teams via Asana and Slack, including project updates, client feedback, and potential opportunities. Monitor project budgets through regular internal reviews, ensuring the team understands allocated hours and financial goals from kickoff through completion.
- Implement and uphold quality assurance procedures to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
- Contribute to strategy and share insights from knowledge of client work and business with the internal team.
Client Service
Work on building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing excellent service, and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.Communicate daily with clients to manage project details, address any concerns, and ensure their satisfaction.Proactively manage and communicate milestones and timelines to both the client and internal teams.Manage client expectations, helping the team achieve their goals without sacrificing their well-being or putting projects at risk.Leadership
Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.As needed, collaborate with leadership to provide ongoing analysis to ensure appropriate utilization of team members and discuss staffing and capacity needs.Suggest and identify project delivery process improvements, especially as related to specific pharma, healthcare, and life sciences clients and their unique processes (e.g., medical / legal review cycles).Conduct regular team member reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement (if other team members report to you).What makes TrendyMinds a great place to work
