🩺 Position : Med / Surg RN – Nights

📍 Address : Carthage, TN

🏥 Type : 25-bed Critical Access Hospital

📅 Orientation : Weekly, Mondays

📆 Assignment Details

Contract Length : [Customizable – usually 13 weeks unless otherwise stated]

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (3x12s, 36 hours / week)

Weekend Requirement : Rotating weekends

Call Requirement : None

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

💰 Pay Information

Travel Rate : Applies to candidates 60+ miles from the facility

Local Rate : $48 / hr

🧠 Qualifications

License : Active TN RN or Compact License

Certifications Required (prior to start) :

BLS (AHA)

ACLS (AHA)

Experience Required : Minimum 1+ year of Med / Surg nursing

Education : ADN or BSN

System Proficiency : Meditech experience preferred

Skills Required : IV insertion

Foley catheter care

Pain management

EMAR usage

All clinical staff must be cleared through the Tennessee Abuse Registry before start.

Patient Population : Primarily adult & geriatric with occasional pediatric patients

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5

Trauma Level : Rural / Critical Access (Non-Trauma designated)

Pneumonia

Hip fractures

AMS

Falls

UTIs

Abdominal pain
